Beginning and concluding in Maun, you will spend eight days immersed in the breathtaking ecosystems of the Mababe private concession, Moremi Game Reserve, and the Okavango Delta—prime locations for exceptional wildlife viewing. This mobile safari offers a beautiful escape, journeying through a stunning variety of landscapes, including Mophane forests, water lagoons, woodlands, and floodplains. These diverse environments support an incredible abundance and variety of wildlife species. You will explore these areas in our customised safari vehicle, which provides each guest with a window seat for optimal game viewing. While in camp, your professional safari team will cater to all your needs, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience.
Arrive in Mababe, a private community-owned concession linking Chobe, Khwai, and Moremi. Explore diverse habitats including savannah, river channels, and acacia woodlands on morning and afternoon game drives. A night drive offers insight into nocturnal wildlife. Limited visitor numbers ensure an exclusive experience in this wildlife-rich corridor known for elephants, buffalo, predators, and seasonal concentrations. Explore Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s most wildlife-rich and ecologically diverse areas. Over three days, enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives from two private campsites. Discover savannah, woodlands, and waterways supporting predators, large herbivores, and prolific birdlife. Evenings are spent at rustic bush camps with ablutions, offering an authentic wilderness atmosphere in this renowned Delta reserve. Distance: Mababe to Moremi: 90 km, leisurely full-day experience
Journey into the Okavango Delta where local polers guide you through tranquil channels by traditional mokoro. Over three days, explore floodplains and islands on guided walks and serene water excursions. Camp in the wild on a secluded island and beside a lagoon. An optional scenic helicopter flight offers breathtaking aerial views of this remarkable wetland ecosystem. Distance: Moremi to Okavango Delta: 90 km | Travel Time: 5 hours (transfer and game drive)
Our safari meals combine comfort and freshness, with generous breakfasts, light midday meals, and satisfying evening dinners served in camp. Carefully prepared by our team, dining becomes part of the overall bush experience.

Game drives on the Caracal Safari are conducted in custom-built 4x4 safari vehicles, designed for comfort and optimal wildlife viewing. Open-sided for clear sightlines, each vehicle allows guests to fully immerse themselves in Botswana’s landscapes and unforgettable sightings.

The Caracal Safari features spacious canvas tents with comfortable bedding, essential camp furnishings, and thoughtfully arranged facilities. Vehicles are equipped with fridges for refreshments, charging ports for devices, and a satellite phone is available to ensure communication and safety in remote areas.
