Deception Valley Lodge nestled the north-easters boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in one of the largest private game reserves in Botswana. The Deception Valley Private Reserve spans 43,000-hectares of pristine Kalahari wilderness. Designated waterholes, hidden viewing hides, vegetated dues, natural pans and an amazing valley offering incredible game viewing opportunities. The lodge uniquely pairs traditional safaris with cultural immersion, as guests are guided through traditional activities by the Naru-speaking San tribe’s. During day and night game drives, witness diverse wildlife including the black-maned Kalahari lion, cheetah, and elusive species like the brown hyena and pangolin. Explore the bush on foot to uncover Bushman hunting techniques and traditions. Accessible by air or road, the lodge boasts eight spacious suites overlooking the African savanna; two of which are family suites, complete with amenities like a swimming pool, spa and various relaxation areas.
